Review content:
I went to the Palace Spa for a facial, eyebrow wax, and pedicure. The spas atmosphere is very calming and the decor is pretty. The spa is under new ownership and it sounds like the new owners are taking note to fix what's broken and make changes for the better. I've never been to this spa before, but in hearing others talk they were happy to now have glasses in the "relaxation room" for drinking water. The relaxation room also had complimentary food. This was my first facial so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was fabulous. Gina made me feel totally pampered and relaxed. My pedicure was as good as any I've had at other high priced salons and Nicole was very friendly. The only complaint is that you must tip with cash and that was not disclosed when I made the appointment. I did make sure I brought cash for this reason, but when asking the receptionist to break my $20 she gave me 4 $5's. She should have known to give some singles. I would recommend this spa and will probably make a future appointment. I did read something about a VIP club that you can join and it gives you 10% off services plus other extras.
