Businiess name:  West Virginia State Fair
Review by:  Eva Jean D.
Review content:
The West Virginia State Fair in Fairlea, WV is getting so big. When it was first opened it was for just a week. Now it is going on for two weeks. They have country music singers everynight followed by fireworks each night. They also have the sheep shearing contest and other animal that are entered for blue ribbons, like pigs, cows, etc. My favorite part has always been the home cooking and tasting all of the delicious foods. Someone would always be making homemade applebutter, selling buttery corn on the cob and those delicious elephant ears covered with powdered sugar. And of course, there are all kinds of rides and games for the younger ones. The only bad thing is that the cost of admission has gone up so much that very few local people get to go. I mean parking can be up to $20 a night if you park near the fair. I still feel like the admission to the fair should be free or very little since there are so many things they sell or make money on. I think they could do a better job of lowering the price for the elderly or low income because the well to do family would go at any cost. This is just my suggestion. I would like to see everyone get to visit the fair.
