Businiess name:  Briarwood Inn

Review content:
We stayed in the penthouse suite at Briarwood for 4 days, being a frequent visitor to Carmel this penthouse suite was by far the most beautiful room I have yet to stay in. It's actually like staying in your own luxury apartment, wonderful fireplace, beautiful fully stocked kitchen, two queen bedrooms and even two bathrooms. This suite was huge and we were even able to bring our small dog George, who absolutely loved the the place as much as his mommy and daddy did. We paid approx. $400.00 a night but considering the accommodations the price was quite reasonable. The only draw back to our stay was a somewhat pushy inn-keeper, she had a problem with our bringing our breakfast to our room (hey we had a dog who couldn't accompany us the breakfast room), and demanded that we ourselves return the tray so the maid would not be inconvenienced (this even irked my husband who never gets irritated) when we stopped by for the evening sherry she didn't want us to take the glasses to the room because we might spill on the rug (hey this room has a full kitchen, plenty of opportunity to spill), the kicker was the phone call we received on our last day, telling us to either close the windows or turn off the heater, excuse me but when I'm paying over $400.00 a night I think I should be able to heat/cool in whatever manner I choose. Enough with the negatives, a beautiful room nevertheless
