Review content:
This mom and pop barbecue place is successfully expanding and still maintains the quality and standards it has always had. We started going here to eat several years ago when they were in their original location. They have since moved to a larger facility, but the food is just the same-and it is delicious. They offer a variety of barbecued meats (beef, pork, turkey, chicken). My personal favorite is the chopped beef brisket. The sauces come mild and spicy. There are a wide variety of sides to choose from. The potato salad is to die for-as well as slaw, ranch beans, french fries and a vegetable of the day. This is not a fancy place. It is a place that offers great food at reasonable prices and wonderful customer service. We often grab carry out to take home with us to Effingham. Champaign/Urbana has a lot of restaurants, but this is my families number one choice when we are in town.
