Review content:
Growing up in Corpus Christi in the 1980's I remember at least five or six different movie theaters scattered throughout the city. Each one featured maybe four or six movies at the most. Over the years they have each closed down and now we have the invention of the multi-plex...where large masses of people gather in one big building and have the choice between 15 different movies. I miss the old days, but since there are now only two places to see a new release in Corpus Christi, I recommend Century for their cleanliness and the friendliness of their staff .... when directly compared to Tinseltown. Multi-plexs are usually too crowded for my tastes, but this one is by far much better than the competition across town. Unfortunately, though, it comes nowhere close to AMC or Regal Theatres, which you can find in San Antonio or Houston.
