Let me start off by saying that my general experiences at Friendly's have not been good. Having said that, I will also tell you that I go to this particular Friendly's on South College Avenue in Newark, DE at least twice per month and often more frequently!
My experiences at other Friendly's have found that the service was terrible but NOT at THIS Friendly's. Everyone at thir Friendly's is wonderful and friendly. The servers go out of their way to do their best and to be efficient.
Friendly's has good food and GREAT Ice Cream! Dessert is always the hihglight of the meal when you go to Friendly's.
For entrees they have everything ffrom burgers to chcken fingers to other sandwiches to salads, and meal platters. Everything I've tasted has been good and their burgers are REALLY GOOD! You can choose a variety of toppings for burgers too.
Children's menu is complete and all childrenl's choices come with drink and dessert. Friendly's also often runs specials that have an adult entree come with a free dessert. These are a really good deal and change seasonally.
The ice cream desserts are why everyone goes to Friendly's and they are not disappointing!!! Very yummy here!
