Chili Verde 2256 S 4th Ave 928-317-9470, Stopped there Monday night on a whim. We had been out driving around looking for a downtown restaurant. Didn't find anything we wanted to walk to in the heat[117F]. We had the nicest time! I'm not a hot pepper type of guy, so it came as a pleasant surprise that you could choose your peppers [or not] from a fixings bar. The salsa for the chips was the best I've ever had, home made fresh. Just a over all pleasant time. The owner, his wife and the cook were the only staff. They spent time with us even though they had larger tables to look after. None of us were stinted though. Just great food, nice people and reasonable prices, w/o tip less that $18.00 for both of us.
