Businiess name:  Heads Up Hair Cutting Center

Review content:
I took my adult son with down syndrome to the Heads up on Mt. View Rd at Hickory Hollow. Since I was badly in need as well, I decided to get mine cut while I was there with him. The staff there were great. My son was treated like a person who knew what he wanted (which he does know) and got the haircut he showed them in the book! He was so pleased that he tipped the guy the his own money he had in his wallet instead of waiting for me to give him money. Does this tell you something? :) SharRon gave me a shampoo, cut and style. This was my first time she cut my hair. I, too, looked through the book to show her a picture of what I was aiming for. She did a wonderful job and took the time to tell me what my options were at several points....and when I told her what I wanted, she told me which option would give me that. I was very pleased with how my hair turned out. My 10 year old daughter even said, "Mom, it really looks like the picture this time!" One thing I can recommend if you plan to visit...call ahead and make an appointment or get an idea of how the schedule for stylist you prefer is looking. Not what I usually observe at other salons, but at Heads Up yesterday, I observed that every person that came in while I was there, was requesting their favorite stylist....and was willing to wait or come back at a later time in the day! The stylists seem to have very loyal return customers. Great results at a great price! THUMBS UP FOR HEADS UP!!! :)
