Review content:
I'm still in awe over this situation. My husband decided he wanted a new truck so we drove to the south side to Sheehy Ford on Midlothian. While we were looking around, a sales person named Norman walked by with another couple and asked if we needed help. He gave us his card and we continued looking. We ran across another sales person later and told him that Norman was helping us and he said "Who? I don't know a Norman." We explained and he went on. Norman returned and went to get the keys for us to test drive one of the trucks. Another sales person came by as we stood there for what seemed like forever. Once again, "Who's Norman?” Norman returned to get a copy of my husband’s license. Once again, he was gone for awhile. We finally were able to test drive the truck and he was supposed to do an appraisal while we were gone. Well, Norman forgot to get the keys. So we had to wait when we got back. Then it was all rushed to get an estimate on payments because they were closing. Even at the end, he went to get the manager to come shake our hands but the manager said he was just too busy. Norman told us he would be back on Monday or we could come in on Saturday. Saturday we went back to check the trade in value of another vehicle and to try to come to an agreement. But, we were once again confronted with "Norman who?” And told that the guy who did trade-ins "just left for a trip" and all we could do was test drive a vehicle. He seemed like he just didn't want to talk to us at all. My husband even tried calling on Monday and still couldn't seem to get any help. From Friday night to today, not one person has called from Sheehy. (We did receive 6 or 7 from Universal trying to help us find a similar truck in two days time). The conclusion to this long story, we're not going to beg someone to sell us a truck. With that much money involved, we expect descent customer service which we received from Universal Ford, but that's another review.
