The Louisville Zoo Is a great family outing destination.The gorilla forest is a must see on any visit. Four acres in size, it is the home to 12 lowlands Gorillas and 2 pygmy hippos. A membership is the best value if you are a local. It allows unlimited access, and admission to the World's largest Halloween Party. The zoo is open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days.
