Review content:
We stopped by for tea today and it was good. I haven't ever felt like my tea was overcooked before for tea but this one was a bit. The food was great, though. We ordered the "eggs and bacon", cucumber and cream cheese, ham and apple and spicy tomato sandwiches and the spicy tomato was amazing. It was like a crostini with tomato, cheese and onion on top. The egg and bacon was interesting, kind of like an egg salad with a bit of bacon. The ham was okay and the cucumber and cream cheese was traditional.
The scone looked like the "Sconehenge" scones you can buy at Whole Foods and other upscale stores, and was really good.
The dessert choices were a chocolate loaf which was okay, a mini cream puff which was really good, and the traditional French macaroon. The vanilla one was amazing, but the pink one was rose flavored, which I thought was weird.
I would go back, since it is a great location near the park, nice atmosphere and good tea.
Also a nice place for a bridal shower, baby shower and the like.
