Businiess name:  Stein Mart
Review by:  T M.
Review content:
Steinmart is what I would call an "upscale" bargain store. They have beautiful housewares and unique clothing. When I was working several years ago, I shopped here frequently for my professional and business casual clothing. I felt the prices at that time were very competitive and really thought I got some good deals. I still enjoy browsing around there, but rarely buy anything. Now that I am a stay at home mom, I don't need so many coordinated outfits. In addition, their prices just don't seem lower than any other department store out there. Stores like Kohl's, Penney's and Foley's always seem to have a sale, and this usually brings their prices even lower than Steinmart's. Another thing that I feel has changed about this store is that their children's department is much smaller than in the past. They have very few styles in a limited size range. In summary, if you are looking for unique and coordinated professional clothing, this is still a great shopping experience. For more casual clothing and more selection, I would stick with the other department stores.
