Businiess name:  Mike Shaw Subaru

First of all, the Service department at Mike Shaw Subaru in Thornton is much smaller than most dealerships from an appearance perspective. I did not count the service bays, but there are only two service writers as you walk in the door. They are both pleasant. I was taking my car in for it's first oil change and I also had a question about getting new wiper blades put on. I ended up being written up by the manager of the Service and Parts department. He was very nice. I do not remember his name. I proceeded to show him my coupon that I had received in the mail for $15.00 oil change and then started ask him what it would cost to get new wiper blades while explaining that the car was new but had been on the dealer lot for 6 months prior to purchase and the wipers were already dried out. He said to me, "Hey, the first one's on us and we'll throw some new blades on their on us as well". So I walked out of there without any out of pocket expenses and pleasantly surprised. The only bummer in the whole experience was that it took almost an hour to change the oil. This is something that Jiffy Lube can do in 5-10 minutes once your car is on the rack and i have yet to find a car dealership that can do it in less than 45 minutes.
