Our local Mervyn's store went out of business at the end of last year. They had a large amount of merchandise to get rid of.
I liked shopping at Mervyn's for grandkids clothes and shoes. They offered some good values in their housewares department.
The girls clothing department almost always had a clearance sale going on. The children's department also had very good clearance offerings
