Review content:
Times have changed at Izzy's this week. They
are under new management and the wonderful news
is that they now open @ 7 a.m. just in time for breakfast!!! I ordered the "Godfather" omellette today
which was stuffed with italian sausage, green peppers,
onions, lots of cheese and topped with spaghetti
sauce. It arrived at my table with rye toast and hash
browns. The meal was entirely too big for just me and
I ended up bringing much of it home. My cousin delighted in "Grandma Myrtle's breakfast" which included two huge pork chops, eggs, toast, hash browns and apple slices. Both of our meals together
costs less than $15.00 for all that food!!! The waitress
tried to con me into buying a slice of cake but I had
no room left. As soon as I stood up I felt fat and close
to bursting at my seams but the food deserves a definite thumbs up and they will be seeing more of me and my family. I was very impressed with the decor
at Izzy's...everything very italian and I felt right at home.
They have the sensored bathrooms where you don't
have to lift a finger (ha,ha) and the aroma is a very
heavy scent of cinnamon in the commodes! How
thoughtful! There is not anything not to like about
Izzy's and I can't wait to bring along my spouse for
his assessment next time.
They are located right on the corner of Washington
and Green Street.
