The Benmarl Winery in Marlboro is a historic location that deserves a visit. This is a cheap fun afternoon. For $6, you can attend a tasting in the winery's tasting room, and take a souvenir Benmarl glass with you when you leave. Certain discounts are available if you purchase wines on site. Even if you aren't a wine lover, take a tour of the beautiful grounds, which have a terrific view of the Hudson Valley and the Hudson River. Benmarl is a popular picnicking spot and is even available to rent for events such as weddings or corporate parties.
