Review content:
This is the signature restaurant of The Post Inn. You don't have to stay at the Post Inn to go there and if you are down in Monterey, I'd highly recommend taking a trip out there.
The architecture like the rest of the Post Ranch (http://www.postranchinn.com/) is amazing. It is ecofriendly and is built into the hill but is hung out on the cliff, so it looks like you are literally floating 10 stories above the ocean. You actually look down on the coastal fog.
The menu is prix fixe four courses and each is amazing at least on the day we went. Everything is locally done and the portions are small but wonderfully tasting. I'd call it the ultimate in california nouveau. I had the appetizer and then they had this incredible ravioli that literally floated off the plate. The deserts were also amazing as is the wine list.
