This is a fun local place. My daughter's uncle is one of the bouncers here. This is the "locals" hangout. It's kinda grungy, but the food is decent and the people are nice. When I went to Idaho for the first time to meet my boyfriend's family in December 2004, we came here for some fun away from his mom and grandma. His sister married the bouncer...a very cool guy I thought. They had a good band (I was shocked - they were pretty decent). The people were somewhat "not my type." It was fun for this big city girl to see how the locals lived. Lots of pot and cigarette smokers. My partner didn't want to park his new Z3 in the parking lot, but if he parked it across the street at Albertson's, someone might steal it. He told me that there's lots of gangs and shootings in Caldwell now. Kinda scared me, being newly pregnant then. It seemed like a meat market to me at night. During the day, it was nice and quiet, sports-pub type of place.
