Businiess name:  Variety Mart
Review by:  Candice C.
Review content:
As far back as I can remember, the Variety Store has been open for business in the quaint village of Bellport. I remember going in there as a child, browsing all of the candy choices. Then, later as a teenager, I would go in with freidns to check out the books and magazines. Even now, I stop in to see the fun knick-knacks they display, along with their stationary supplies. The Variety Mart is run by a wonderful woman named Carol, who is also an alumni of Bellport High School (like yours truly). Carol runs a tight ship, but is very generous and outgoing. Her store continues to be a landmark of Bellport, with the gold and red hanging right outside. Even better, The Variety Mart now carries Teen Trend Magazine! They are the second store to do so on Long Island. Even though The Variety Mart may be "Old School" and around for quite a while, they still carry the latest products.
