I'm not sure if you guys have these stores in your states - when I lived in Portland I had never heard of them. When I moved to FL my grandma worked there and so she would always take me there to shop. I don't always find stuff for myself, but their children's section is great! They offer very fair prices and up-to-date styles. It was at Beall's that I found great, modest bathing suits for my nieces, age 5 and 6 and that is sometimes hard to find in this day and age! They always have a full, yet clean and organized clearance section where you can always find great bargains for the kids!
Another favorite dept is there home goods section. They have the cutest plants, pics, kitchenware and other goodies all very organized and beautifully displayed.
Their womens dept is huge, but how do I say this without offending anyone? Most of the women's clothes at my local Beall's are dated for the older and much wiser generations :>) so I don't usually find to much for me.
But, like I said, great selection and very well priced kids clothes for school. Beautiful home goods dept. Great kitchenware. Very clean and organized store. Overall, a trip worth making!
