Review content:
I have used the services of Bill Thompson at Briarwood Writers' Alliance for at least ten years in obtaining name poets/writers for our annual Undergraduate Conference on English Language and Literature here at the University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL). I can always count on Bill not only to have a terrific list of speakers, but also to advise me concerning who would be best for our audience. He's helped bring us Eavan Boland, Lee Young-Li, Tobias Wolff, Robert Creeley, Billy Collins, and a number of other excellent writers. Bill is wonderful at trying to keep costs reasonable for academic groups with tight budgets, and he goes out of his way to find the cheapest flights for the speakers so as not to strain our resources. He's personable and a real delight to work with.
