Businiess name:  Iowa River Power Co Restaurant
Review by:  Audrey H.
Review content:
When you go to the Iowa River and Power restaurant for a meal it is a dining 'experience'. Located at the corner of 1st Ave. and 5th St. in Coralville, this location has a previous history as a flour mill. http://www.powercompanyrestaurant.com/ You expect something special at IRP as it is affectionately known in the area and that something special is ambiance, good food and good service. You can choose from a menu for varied tastes. The items are however pricey and might spoil some peoples appetites for the food to come. It's a good idea to check menu prices before going to eat. A phone call or a stop during off hours will take care of this. One of the highlights of dining at IRP is the river view. You can sit inside at a table overlooking the Iowa River and if you are lucky see bald eagles nesting in the trees along the riverbank or soaring overhead. You might want to sit outside on the patio when the weather permits. If river views aren't your thing then ask for a table on an inner wall. The servers are always accomodating. While this is a popular destination for lunches and dinners, Iowa River and Power also serves a great Sunday brunch from 11 AM - 2 PM. For a true dining experience go to Iowa River and Power.
