Review content:
After hearing countless people rave about In-N-Out Burger, I finally got a chance to try it myself during a day-trip to California. At first I was taken aback by the tiny menu, but since I was starving, I just ordered a cheeseburger and french fries. The restaurant was crazy busy and it took a few minutes to get the food, but the staff was *very* friendly and the place was sparkling clean and obviously well-run. You can see right into the kitchen, so while I was waiting for my food, I watched someone making french fries. Imagine my surprise when I saw the gentleman taking *real* potatoes and putting them in the slicer!
The food is great. It came to me hot and fresh and it really tasted GOOD. This is still 'fast food' but definitely several steps above McDonalds or Burger King. The fries were fabulous and still had little bits of potato skins on the ends.
I can't wait to go back! (We don't have these in Washington.)
