There are only about 60 independent bookstores left in the entire country? Malaprops is one that people in the business know and look to for guidance. This store has good decor A convenient cafe' and great staff. The staff are well paid and happy to help. This is a store typology that is going out of vogue because in order to buy there you are paying the staff and the publisher and the author a good working wage, which is not the trend as of late. This store is full of good works from every genre and on every interest. And the staff have a good working knowledge so they are willing and able to engage you in discourse or just suggest a good book. I say 'Great'
