If you're in Sunland and want a place for quick and delicious subs, salads and more, go to Giamela's!
This is nestled in a little strip mall, and is a teeny establishment itself. But there are about 10 tables for families to dine-in if they so wish, and a tv to entertain, as well. They offer lots of italian dishes- buckets of spaghetti, plates of lasagna, manicotti, and more. Each meal comes with a side of garlic bread- tons of it! There are lots of pizza, as well. You can create your own, if you'd like. All kinds of toppings, including sardines.
Personally, my favorite is the garden salad. It's under $2, and packed with veggies- carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, all in mass quantities. I get mind with pepperoncinis, and the italian dressing. It's all very fresh, and good for you. You could literally eat this and not need anything else. You'd be stuffed to the gills!
I also recommend the meatball subs. They have lots of sandwhiches (hot and cold), but this is my favorite. Huge meatballs, tons of marinara sauce. I can never eat this thing in one sitting. MM!
