Wisconsin Humane Society. It should be one of the very first places you go prior to getting a pet. These animals are homeless. And for a nominal fee you can adopt one. Some critters, such as cats that are over one year of age, the fees for adoption are waived. Please accept the one month of free pet health insurance. We got one of our dogs here, and he was terribly ill. And spent well over $1,000.00 in medical needs in the first two weeks. The Wisconsin Humane Society is more than just dogs and cats. They also have rabbits, hamsters, and other small animals. There is a also a pet store inside. All profit goes back to Wisconsin Humane Society.
