Businiess name:  Chart House

Review content:
I have to say I am biased. I work at the Chart House. We are a so-called chain (I hate that word) but we strive for the best. We bend over backwards for our guests. We serve really great food. Our Chart House sits at the end of a long pier in the Lincoln Harbor. We are basically on the water right across from the Empire State building. Our view is from the George Washington Bridge down the Hudson River to the Varazano Bridge. The resturant is lined with 20 foot high picture windows. We see everything. Ships leaving, helicopters landing, etc. I do believe our food and service outweigh the magnificant view. But that is the only kind of chain resturant I truly like. Places that serve the best quality food and are sticklers for service. I do like Mom and Pop types too. If the food is good. If the food is like a diner, forget it. I guess it just depends on who really strives to be the best. We have a little Italian place called Rudy's. It has been there 30+ yrs and the food is great. We also have a locally owned resturant called Solari's. And the food is fantastic!! I guess all you can do is read reviews and find your favorite by trial and error.
