Review content:
This place is the best I have had since my local German Bakery in Wisconsin closed down in 1979. It has a real old world feel inside and the bakery is AMAZING. Not a place for breads, but if you want sweet bakery items (cookies, breads, cakes, etc) THIS IS THE PLACE. The absolute BEST carrot cake around. They always have good samples to snack on while waiting at the counter.
I brought a pumpkin bread to a friends house for a Sabbath dinner. She hasn't stopped talking about it. Every month or so she travels from San Francisco to Los Gatos just to get some of this bread.
I just got married and had them to a variety of cupcakes for our wedding instead of a traditional wedding cake. They were a hit. I have never been disappointed. Now if they only made bread, they'd be perfect.
