Businiess name:  Crystal Springs Golf & Spa Resort

Review content:
Crystal Springs is a golf, ski and spa resort located about an hour's drive in Vernon, NJ. The complex is comprised of six golf courses, Ballyowen, Black Bear, Crystal Springs, Great Gorge, Minerals and Wild Turkey as well as the 175 room Minerals Hotel and adjacent ski condominium complex called Mountain Creek. My family has played on several of the golf courses and have skied at Mountain Creek. All report good to very good conditions. The resort offers a number of packages (Golf & Stay, Summer Family Stay, Wine Gourmet) designed to get you to stay over from 1-4 nights and enjoy the property. What's attractive about this resort are the affordable greens fees which start at just $15 for Minerals and climb to $45 at Ballyowen (includes a cart). Golfers can take advantage of packages to get both weekday/weekend green fees reduced with the best tee times. There are even beginning and intermediate golf 101 sessions (1 1/2 classes) that start at just $29 (tee times after 4PM). They offer innovative social golf lessons which include not only class but dinner. The resort runs special in the newspaper offering one complimentary 18-hole round of weekday twilight golf at four of their courses. Great if you can sneak away from work for a round--just register on their website. www.crystalgolfresort.com
