Review content:
Appleby's is one of those places you like to go with friends or family. Located on the Coralville Strip at the corner of Highway 6 and 12th Ave. it is easy to find. They offer a good selection of foods and are constantly changing to bring in new items. One of the pluses eating there is their Weight Watchers menu. For people watching the amounts they eat, it might be wise to ask for a take home box when they bring the meal as the portions are large. They have kept their prices in line with other restaurants of this type and give friendly service. Kids seem to love to go to Appleby's. It it the balloon?
I checked with the Coralville Appleby's and found out that while children no longer eat free one night a week, they do have a special for children on Wednesday night. Children eat for .99 apiece with one paid adult meal. They clarified that saying that you only need one adult even if there are several children. That is especially nice in single parent homes.
Hours are from 11 AM to 10 PM Sun,-Thur. and 11 am. to midnight on Fri. and Sat. If you get there after 6 PM expect a short wait.
