Review content:
When you finally sell your novel and need a photo for the cover jacket, come to this salon. Salon Visage is by far and away regarded as the best salon in Knoxville and perhaps all of East Tennessee. Clients come from all over the south to get cuts and colors and perms. It is expensive. Expect to pay about 30 percent, sometimes more, than you would for other great salons.
Spa Visage is a spin-off of this salon. And the salon is located at the entrance to Downtown West, which houses Spa Visage and Kan-pai. It's near Target and just off Kingston Pike. You'll find yourself pampered from the moment you get in, even if it's not the spa. A shampoo girl greets you at the door. You're usually offered sodas and sometimes some treats. You can get great advice on what would look best for your face. Stylists can also do the latest styles. You may walk out as a trend-setter. And all work is guaranteed. If you even hesitate to show happiness, the stylist will rip out the scissors and start trying again to make you happy.
Beauty takes time, so allow plenty of extra time here. You can't make it on your lunch hour. A simple cut-and-style takes about 90 minutes. Colors and perms take hours. Needless to say, appointments are required.
If you're unemployed, you might think of splurging to come here. Not only will you leave with a good look and renewed confidence. The salon attracts many of Knoxville's movers and shakers. You never know who you're going to meet in the lounge...
The only reason it doesn't get five stars is the price and the fact that walk-ins are discouraged.
