Review content:
Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a
very remote area of Fair Haven, sits six apartments
with more than a wee bit of history. Placed securely
across the street from St. Johns Marsh and with a yard
that welcomes Lake St. Clair these units are not
for everyone. At one time they were cottages for the
hunters and fisherman to stay at while exploring the
surrounding territories. Each apartment is laid out
differently and with TLC can become adorable doll
houses. I know, because this has been home for
me for a long time. The landlord, Jim Ackerman,
is one of the nicest men I ever met. Rent includes
water, gas and electric (Wow, no utility bills!) And
in addition to the lake access we have our own boathouse! Recently one apartment has opened
for rent. From Palms Road you can get on the I-94
expressway for a faster route to town.
