Review content:
The Bear Mountain Inn is a rustic two story stone lodge in the Bear Mountain State Park. The Inn was constructed using native materials such as chestnut logs and birch found on the site. There's a definite rugged look and feel to the Inn and it remains a popular spot for Sunday Brunch, weddings, meetings and special celebrations.
The Inn has meeting room and banquet hall space to accommodate groups up to 500. You can stay overnight in the Main Inn, Stone Lodges and Overlook Lodge. Each of the Main Inn guest rooms contain private bath, color TV and are closest to the dining room, food court and lobby area which has a fireplace and bar. The Main Inn is wheelchair accessible.
Host a meeting here and you'll be able to rent audio visual equipment and have the rooms set up to accomodate your particular set-up. This is also a popular place to host off-site corporate meetings.
All food and event planning is handled by Inn Credible Caterers at 845-786-2731 who have a full banquet and executive meeting brochure.
Bear Mountain Inn is a destination dining spot for folks looking for Sunday Brunch (closed Memorial Day through Labor Day). Don't even think of coming here on Mother's Day! Unlimited champagne, groaning boards of food (salads, hot and cold entrees, waffles and omelets made to order) and live music keep the place packed. The bounty of food is overwhelming, however, I find it to be mediocre at best. I strongly suggest calling for reservations if you're interested in brunch.
