I'm a self-confessed choco-holic. I love eating chocolate. I am picky about it though; it has to be light chocolate with little wax, but lots of cream and smooth. I am sure this is because I grew up eating Esther Price chocolate. I am a choco-snob. Combined with my newer wine-snob tendencies, let me tell you, it annoys my husband.
This chocolate, in particular my favorites, Light Chocolate Creams, are so yummy and buttery. They are creamy and smooth, without the harsh chocolate acid aftertaste you can get from some candy bars, like a Hershey bar. It is like a gourmet version of a Cadbury bar, in a lot of ways. The fillings are also smooth and mixed thoroughly, and you can tell they actually take the time to make sure things are incorporated, rather than using a pre-mixed bag that can taste powdery.
It is pricey, but if you want to wow your SO, this is worth it. They do have a lovely website, but shipping is a bit high. However, if you live in the Dayton area, I think even through Columbus, give someone the cash to get you a box. You will thank your bloated tummy in the morning.
