Review content:
Offering a nice selection of Italian dishes, Carmen's homemade sauce knocks the competitors socks off. The only ones that are in this class are Arnones Restaurant on 18th and Cherry and Hector's on 18th and Liberty.
I've had ravs and gnocchi here, both excellent. My biggest complaint with the local Italian restaurants is that they don't offer fresh grated parm for their awesome, homemade sauces!!!!
Served with salad and bread, their dinners are fairly priced and well worth every penny.
I enjoy going there at lunch time as the crowds are very small. Dinner times are a little more hectic but worth any wait you have.
