Businiess name:  Gene's Salon

Review content:
When I first started going there a few years back, I was quite impressed with the service, professionalism, and overall appearance of the salon. I am sad to say that is not the case today. I am saddened to see such a salon with great potential go down as fast as it did. I had gone for a coloring with the entire time I was being serviced, the two girls in the salon were bickering back and fourth with the stylist up front arguing with another girl. The level of professionalism has gone down a bit and I was very taken back by the lack of consideration for the customers in the building. I witness an older woman who was being shampooed after a coloring who's shampoo job was horrific and, before they began to cut her hair, the stylist complained that she still had mounds of color in her hair and refused to style her hair until the color was completely removed. The woman who shampooed her hair said that she wasn't a shampooist and said she did her best. All in all, it's ok but I'm sure you could find another place around here that would take your level of comfortability into consideration.
