Review content:
If you have spent anytime strolling through The District at Green Valley Ranch Hotel than you could not have missed Lucille's. If you did not see it than you can certainly smell the BBQ scents in the air. Just makes your mouth water and your stomach growl. It is so hard to find the perfect BBQ ribs but my search is finally over. The best room to dine in is a porch-like enclosure, complete with twirling overhead fans and a retro green-and-cream linoleum floor. Fortunately for us, it is totally kid friendly so we did not have to worry about the kids making too much noise. The main dining room is nice, too, all high, red vinyl booths and even taller metal coat racks alongside them. The portions are enormous but isn't that the norm these days with places like Claim Jumpers & Boca de Beppo. If you want to beat the dinner rush you may want to go early or you will be waiting a good hour to be seated. Here are a few favorites: pork ribs & chicken combo with sweet potatoes & steamed veggies, spicy jambalaya over pasta and you can't beat the macaroni & cheese. If you still have room after all of that, enjoy your tootsie roll sucker on the way out.
