I grew up in Sterling 50 years ago and at that time it was Carl Pappas owned the store which he bought from his brother Charlie.If this is the same store right by the bridge.My Grandfather owned the only Liquor Store in Town,The Eureka Package Store on Main Street.He passed away and it has since been sold.But my Aunts and Cousins still live in Sterling.Haven't been there in about 13 years. Some day I hope to go back and visit.
