Review content:
Looking for a lunch time venue near the Palmer House (Hilton)? Miller's Pub is just the thing. Serving up good homemade food in the central Loop is a welcome surprise you will find here. The wait staff is old fashioned in the sense of knowing how to take care of customers, the restaurant itself is like a cozy club or your favorite neighborhood bar. You don't need to drink to enjoy eating here. And for all of my sports-minded male coworkers, this is a favorite spot to catch up on the latest baseball score while enjoying a burger or some ribs. The food served up here is tasty comfort food, the kind mom used to make. Miller's Pub may seem like a throw-back to another age, but that can be a good thing in the age of fast food lunches. This is also a good place to have a drink after a meeting at the Palmer House (as is the Big Downtown nearby).
