Review content:
I had my first appointment with Dr. Smith today. I was a little worried because I loved my old doctor and was so sad when we moved. Dr. Smith was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed!
Her office is located off Fry Rd and Kingsland by the Christus St. Catherine Hospital. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist and had to fill out a few forms. I didn't have to sit in the waiting area for long before they called me back which was impressive. The nurse was very friendly and both she and the doctor started asking me questions about my daughter, summer vacation, etc. and I wondered how they knew so much about me when it was my first appointment, and I realized that they had taken the time to go through my paperwork and get to know me. I thought that was impressive! I didn't sit in the exam room for long before the doctor came in and she was friendly yet professional. I never felt rushed and she addressed all of my concerns and answered my questions. I would totally recommend her!
The only downfall of this whole experience was in scheduling an appointment. You have to call a separate phone number to do this and I had to wait on hold for almost 10 minutes before I got through to someone! Also, they did not give me a reminder call the day before.
