Review content:
I scheduled an appointment with Huntington Pet Vet after reading some good reviews about them on another website. My appointment was in the morning, on a weekday. When I arrived, it was already busy, mostly of people dropping their dogs off to be groomed. The women at the front desk were not friendly and did not seem approachable. They also did not know what my appt. was for, even though I told them over the phone when I scheduled the appt. and I also wrote it down on the sign in sheet. After waiting for awhile, one of the women called us into a room and told us to wait for the vet. We waited again for ten or fifteen minutes and the vet, Dr. Naito, finally came to see us. She came in looking flustered, unprepared and pre-occupied. She wasn't outright mean but she also didn't seem like she really cared for us or our visit. She spent maybe five minutes with us and she didn't even properly give my dog a checkup. When I asked her about neutering, all she said was, "You can schedule for him to be neutered anytime," and then that was the end of our visit. The only part of the visit that is worth mentioning is that the cost of the visit was very reasonable, but I don't recommend going here if you want a vet that will take the time to answer your questions and actually cares for your pet. I think it would be much better to spend a few extra dollars and go to a vet that is friendly and will make your visit an excellent one.
