Businiess name:  Church's Chicken
Review by:  Alicia C.
Review content:
I try not to let one bad experience ruin my opinion of a business, but some things are just too bad to let go. My experience with Church's Chicken was one of those. When I lived in Tulsa, me and my best friend were together all the time. We were really busy, and ate out often. One night, after running around, we decided to pick up a bucket of chicken to take home and enjoy. We stopped at this particular location, because it was not far from her apartment. This restaurant is located on Peoria, one of the main streets in Tulsa, very easy to get to, right off the highway. The location is mediocre, not in the best part of town, but not the worst. This restaurant, however, just never really did have a great look to it. The parking lot seemed dirty, and just plain unkempt... something that, in my opinion, should be important for an establishment that is serving food. Well, the parking lot and the area were the least of my worries, as we arrived at her place and got ready to eat. I pulled out a piece of fried chicken, and noticed feathers still attached! I was so grossed out, that was it for me, but she started to examine the other pieces, and found two or three more that, also had the ends of feathers still attached. Some people may look at this as no big deal, but when it comes to my food, I am very particular. With meat, especially, one needs to be very careful in the cleanliness and thorough cooking. For me, this completely showed their lack of awareness, and it was enough to make me sick enough to vow never to return. I constantly tell others about that experience, as there is just no sense in that. If ya like the feathers, go to Church's... otherwise, I would recommend steering clear!
