We had planned to reserve a block of rooms here for our wedding guests, and were told it would be fine if we contacted them after a certain date. When we contacted them, we were told there were no rooms available, due to a vollyball conference in town the same weekend. The manager was not helpful or nice to use (although the young woman who was a desk attendant was sympathetic). He was rude and unwilling to even discuss options available. Apparently local business is not as important as large groups. I was practically crying when we got back into the car, this guy was so rude.
Another time, when I needed to make a reservation for a guest coming to town, I called and asked for their rates (thinking I would give them a second chance) and they had rates that were $30 over other in-town hotels for the same date! Ridiculous. I would not reccomend using the hotel services.
