Review content:
The Judy's Book review of Tutta Bella in Wallingford that said it was "Via Tribunali without the wait or the attitude" was spot on. Only I might add, "along with many families and kids". I was surprised to find such a large, open kid-friendly restaurant in the middle of the city. I haven't seen a lot of these (or maybe they just aren't on my radar since I don't have children). In any event, Tutta Bella is a great spot for those with or without families. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead to get your name on a list. However the wait wasn't long--20 minutes for a party of 8 on a Friday night at prime time. Service was fast--almost too fast. 5 minutes at most for the salads and pizzas we ordered. They were delicious so we didn't mind but next time I'd space things out and order when we were hungry and not before. Our favoite pizzas were the lasagna and the special prosciutto and asparagus.
