Businiess name:  Outback Skokie

Review content:
I love Outback Steakhouse. Yes, it is a chain. Yes, its menu is the same from state to state. What makes this place different from so many other is that sameness means quality and that you can find great food no matter where you are. For my family, this restaurant located in suburban Skokie is our traditional Outback to go to. It can get insanely crowded. My tip? The bar area is first-come/first-serve. So, put your name in for a table and then hang out near the bar area. When someone leaves, jump into the booth, knocking over elderly women and small children if necessary, and get a seat. You'll probably get one there before your name is called from the list. Recently Outback took off may favorite dish from their menu; the Outback Rack. However, they have a great pork chop that is almost as good and worth going back for. Their Bloomin' Onion is essentially nothing but bad for your heart and cholesterol, but if you are going to Outback to be weight conscious you are in the wrong place. Service is always pleasant and the atmosphere is always laid-back. We get and give gift certificates to this place for holiday gifts and not one has ever not been used. Great place, great food, decent prices. It's a winner.
