My husband took me out to dinner and a movie for my birthday. We came here to Applebee's on State Rd 64 or Manatee Ave. Well the waitress that we had to the least was Horrible. We were bothering other waiters for help and asking the manager to clean the table of the other plates or glasses. The waitress, Tori, must have been either too busy or not really caring about my age. I ordered an alcoholic drink called the Orange Dream. I asked her what it tastes like and she immediately replied "it takes like an Orange Dream". That by far doesn't tell me what this picture of an Orange Dream tastes like. Mind you sometimes I look like I'm 14 years of age so I was not surprised to have her ask for my ID on my 25 birthday. She looked at my ID and then gave it back. ( If she really would've looked she would've noticed it was my birthday) Well after about 15 min of waiting i finally got my drink in hand. We had some other person bring us our food and then by the time we wanted to leave we asked another waiter to PLEASE bring us our check. She then took then check with our credit card and we waited about another 20 min just for her to come back. In the meantime we talked to the manager and asked is he could promptly find our waitress and get our card back. We did and I will not go to that Applebee's anymore. Bad choice for the night.
