Review content:
There are many good things as well as bad about David's Bridal. First off, the prices are very affordable if you compare them to a traditional bridal shop. If you needed to, you can purchase a dress right off the rack, but they usually have a new dress brought in for you if you have time. The down side of the cheap prices is that alterations are not included. Depending on what you need done, they could end up costing you an additional $20 to $100+. Second, I believe the sales women get paid commission, so they tend to give a lot of attention to a group of girls who come in rather than just one person. One sales woman wouldn't let me try on a dress in the fitting room because she wanted to 'reserve' the rooms for a bridal party. I was going to be in and out before they were ready to use the room. Then a little bit later, the other girls who were in the same wedding as me showed up. All of a sudden, that saleswoman saw the group of us and tried to start helping us. We told her we didn't need her help... especially since 15 min prior she wanted no part of helping me. With the exception of that one sales woman, they usually are very helpful. My sister found a dress she loved here only to find out it was discontinued. They actually had to have it brought in from another store on the other side of the country... and they did this at their expense because they knew how much my sister loved the dress.
