Review content:
Damo sushi is not a bad option for sushi in the Contra Costa area. They have decently priced bento boxes and combo dishes with options for teriyak, tempura and sushi, and a large selection of rolls. The food isn't spectacular and it's not exactly traditional Japanese, but still it hits the spot. Make sure to check the daily specials too! And they often have a few nice korean dishes too.
The restaurant is conveniently located in what is becoming the central asian shopping center of Concord- with the supermarket, County Square and couple of other good asian restaurants and shops.
Free miso soup and edamame.
