Review content:
I brought a Grandam in on a Friday 05/18/2006 that didn't run, they called Tuesday when it was done. Turned out to be corrosion on the battery cables. But somehow the terminal on the battery was destroyed and they wanted to sell me a new one. The battery was 6 months old, a premium grade Autolite from Checker Auto still under the 2 year replacement plan. The corrosion could have caused heat which could have caused the threads to ripped out of the battery easily as they removed the cable. But they said I brought it in that way. The manager called me a liar several times and didn't listen to me when I tried to explain that I had not mangled the battery terminal. It was totally mauled. I had said on the phone it was fine when I brought it in and that really set him off. He hadn't even seen the car until after the mechanic had started work on it. So he had no clue what really happened from Friday 5/18/2006 to Tuesday 05/23/2006. I walked out of there stunned after being called a liar around 6 times.
