Darwin (the owner) at Brookside treated me right! He did a great job removing the half dozen, or so, parking lot dings from my 1996 Impala SS. The quote was reasonable and the quality of work was second to none. I checked out 4 or 5 other body shops before I settled on Brookside. I felt comfortable giving my car to Darwin, compared to some body shops that seemed to have a hurry up in-and-out attitude. I would say Brookside Auto Body is one of Elgin's best places to take your car for body & paint work. I would also say Brookside Auto Body is THE place to have your Hot Rod restoration work done.
